COVID-19: Lagos Moves to Stop Church, Mosque Services
he Lagos State Government says it will request religious leaders to stop Friday (Juma’at) and Sunday church services. Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotoso, stated this on Wednesday.
He said the religious leaders will be advised to shut down services in the interest of the public. Mr Omotosho said this, few hours after Lagos recorded its seventh Coronavirus case.

Lagosians may soon begin to enjoy less traffic congestion and smooth
business operations with neighboring states as the railway lines are set to commence operations.
The Lagos Ibadan rail project which had been undergoing reconstruction is near completion with a 312km long double-track standard gauge rail line.
